Evol premium wraps and burritos
BOULDER, Colo. — EVOL® Burritos, Boulder-based maker of made-fromscratch, natural and organic frozen burritos, announced a new line of 7-ounce premium burritos and wraps.
Like EVOL’s Classic line of burritos, the new Premium burritos and wraps feature real food with happy ingredients, including all-natural, humanely-raised proteins with no hormones or preservatives. What’s new are the outstanding ethnic-inspired flavors, and chef and EVOL founder, Phil Anson, has beefed up the recipes. Literally. There is more of what foodies long for with higher ratios of protein and gourmet varieties of vegetables in each Premium burrito and wrap.
EVOL’s Premium burritos feature prime cuts of meat, from sustainable partners like Niman Ranch and Petaluma Poultry, and are seasoned with savory fusion flavors. The new burritos are available in three varieties: Fire Grilled Chicken Fajita, Fire Grilled Steak Fajita and Pork Carnitas. The meats are fire-grilled and paired with cilantro lime rice. The Pork Carnitas is marinated in orange juice and garlic, and the fresh salsa is made with tomatillos and tomatoes. Packaged with love (EVOL spelled backwards), EVOL is bringing food-lovers authentic, chef-made recipes directly to the kitchen without the mess, hassle and time normally invested in making a gourmet meal.
In addition to the new Premium burritos, EVOL also introduces new Premium wraps in three ethnic flavors that are satisfying and delicious. Both the Veggie Curry and Mediterranean Couscous are organic and vegan. The yellow curry is prepared using a medley of traditional spices, coconut milk and a bite of lemongrass for a kicked up Thai experience. EVOL also introduces an all-natural Teriyaki Chicken wrap with free-range white meat Petaluma Poultry chicken, delicate jasmine rice, crispy veggies and a homemade teriyaki sauce. Really. This is gourmet and sustainable food that happens to be frozen.
