Concept core
A square burger with 3 different tastes and colours representing the rich tradition of Italy
Ingredients
- Lean ground beef
- Green: pesto/ basil
- White: fresh goat cheese
- Red: tomato tapenade
How it's made?
- Devide the ground beef in three equal parts
- Mix each part with one of the colours/ tastes
- Form square burgers
- Stack the three burgers together and wrap them tight with a plastic film
- Put the wrapped meat into the freezer for half an hour to make it more firm
- Cut the pile of burgers with a sharp knife
- Decorate the pesto part with fresh basil pieces
Cooking
- Prepare the tricolores in the frying pan
Variations
There are two variations on the tricolore design
- Tricolore on a stick representing a flag on a flagpole
- Tricolore with butter on the white part. Ready to fry without additional oil or butter
